I have been having a problem with some maps. For example toy solders and formula. They were placed in the main folder but when I try to log into a sever it says "can't find mp_toy_solders.bsp" or somthing to that effect. Does anyone else encounter these problems? Let me know if there is a way to fix it. thanks

Whubee:

I've had the same thing happen to me with some maps. My feeling is that some locations have corrupted files so they don't load properly. The fix I use is to go to a different location for dling the map. I use 3 or 4 different map download sites and find that all of them have problems with some of the maps. :uhm: :uhoh: So, if a map won't load that I got from site A, I del it and try the same map from site B...usually works for me.

I've never tried to run under 98...only ME and have recently installed and am now using XP which is much more crash proof than ME

Exactly what is happening and have you tried to delete and re-install?? Watch the posts as I am sure someone will be able to help...

Must be a hardware issue, I am running Windows98 SE on one machine and Windows ME on the other and both work fine with R.T.C.W. Both are on a network and both play on the internet. XP has to many security problems for me so I can’t comment on that OS.

Good Luck , and Good Gaming.

Major Pain, who is a . . . .
