Hi,Hi All!

I did some pokeing around and found out some neat info about our favorite rtcw weapons. (All according to plaques at the local war museum,so no flameing me) One of the neat things i stumbled across was that the panzer was first ment to be a gerande launcher. However,it became a rocket launcher. The panzer in rtcw is a panzerfuast 30,so named cause it had a 100 foot range. The Panzerfaust 30 was the first panzer besides the prototypes, and it was followed by at least six more, each named for thier range. Anyway, you know how down the side it says "Achtung"? Well,if you could see it all it would say "Achtung! Feuerstrahl! " Or "Beware! Fire Jet!" This is cause it created a 10foot expolsion to it's rear. Also the warhead didn't arm untill it was 5m form the weapon...Umm,if we had this in wolf:). The panzer was also followed by the 'PanzerKraken' a HUGE panzer that was more bunker buster and 'no tanks all' then anti-tank. Imagine the panzer with a huge box hanging off the end and a square sight, that's the panzerkraken. (Speaking of sights, the thing that pops up is a ranged sight...umm wonder if it could be used in game).

A second thing i noted is that germans did not have flamers, besides protoypes wich they didn't use :( Nor did the americans or the french! Only the birtish..they developed a good working model and it was used by hideing in a trench, then spraying it over the trench and running up and rushing the germans. They also developed four large trucksized flamers wich they used untill three were destoryed by the germans. The americas adpoted the flamer when they went to fight the japense after the defeat of italy and germany. A ww2 flamer weighed 70 pounds but only took 8 seconds to unload/reload.

Oh,and stick gerandes have a string on the side you have to pull,to. This isn't on the model in wolf for some, reason oddly.

Anyway,it's nice to see the detail in the models, they even printed the warnings down the sides on the panzer and stick gerandes(wich had them to.)

So the Panzer 30 had the number 30 because it had a 100 ft range? If it has a 100 foot range, it would be nice to see that implemented in the game. You get on a map like trench, and a panzer always shoots from the bunker 2/3 down the map to the edge of the central area, about 1500 feet or so.

I'm guessing the 30 stands for metres?

I guess 30 is easier to say than Panzer 98.43 (30 converted to feet) ;)
