Here is some interesting info I found on an a Star Trek map all crinkled tucked behind some books on the top shelf. I used to use it as part of an old role playing game (yeah, one of those old archaic hobbies people played with other real people and a set of dice). I've been looking for it, cause I'm hoping to figure out how to make my own map or have someone do it for me and incorporate the race empire boundaries in to a game, but here are some fun facts for you Federation lovers:

United Federation of Planets, founded 2161 Founding Member Worlds: Earth; Alpha-Centauri; Vulcan;Tellar; Andoria Capital City: Paris, European Alliance, Earth Starfleet Command Academy/Headquarters: San Francisco, North American Alliance, Earth Member worlds as of 2278: 183 Number of Affiliates: 7,128 Federation Space: 8,000 cubic light years Population: 985 Billion Languages: Standard Linguacode (Earth primary languages: English, French, Spanish, Chinese) Monetary Units: Credit Military Branch: Starfleet Command Universal Holiday: Federation Day (May 8)

Damn, makes me think of the days when I used to play Starfleet Command - Gold Edition.

Yeah, SFC style combat, a RTS element in it, as well as a RP element, would rock.
