Having been working majorly on the corridor sections of Star Trek Explorer, somthing I have noticed after watching back certain episodes of TNG and VOY is not only are parts of each the same set, just re-dressed, but the characters walk round in circles or when the camera angle changes they walk back the way they came.

I have also realised that all the decks are on the same set, somthing I had never considered before. You dont really think about where the locations are, but all the rooms on a starship are on the same set.

The only difference is the bridge sets, of which have their own stages all together.

Opinions anyone?

Ah, I never thought about every deck being on the same set, but its probably cheaper to just have 1 set for each deck instead of loads, especially for the Galaxy Class, they would have to spend loads, i mean, with all those decks.

Indeed, Think about the re-dress of sets on Enterprise-A from Enterprise-D,

The Presidents office - Ten Forward Engineering - Ent-D Engineering Corridoors - Ent D Corridoors with cross section in the middle of the corridoor E.T.C

Like with the Defiant/Fake delta flyer as the bridge layout is almost identical minus the control consoles

Yes that was the same set again, also with the Excelsior, Prometheus and Nova class bridges, they were the same set.

Defiant and NX-01 are not the same set, for one the shape is radically different and the whole layout is new.

You can tell if its re-used because they have a lot of things either similar or the same. With the Defiant and Imposter Delta Flyer, the only difference was the colors and the removal of the starfleet table at the back. With the Excelsior, Prometheus and Nova, they had the same support struts, turbolift and general shape.

Same two doors on either side of the Captain...Same single Helm Design same aft area where Defiants holoprojector was installed.

They're not exactly the same, you're right....but I do notice the design has alot of Defiant signitures...

they probalbly took parts from defiant but since it is old warp 5 ships they would have to make up some areas as holoprojector for example wasn't around then
