This thread is exactly what it says in the title. Another arguement :). I won't comment for now, I'll just let the ball roll, who would win, the Star Trek universe, or Andromeda one?

Star Trek would simply beam over klingons and let them kick Hercules' ass, then throw him out, or launch him in a torpedo at the nearest ship.

Chemix2Star Trek would simply beam over Borg and let them kick Hercules' ass, then assimilate him or kill him.

Fixed.

The andromeda would obliterate a cube before it got within transporter range, easily.

okay, redoing my answer to this- "The Borg would use an Assimilation beam on it after using assimilated Breen energy draining weapons to shut the ship down. Then the Feds, Roms, and Klingons would come in with massive fleets, obliterate the Cube and the Andromeda."

Well usually, if an entire fleet goes against one ship, the ship loses, so we're trying to be fair here...

"Assimilation Beam" sounds like a startrek armada weapon I never remember hearing it in the show or movies so i'll go out on a limb here and say that it is indeed from the games, thus I declare it....NOT CANON. You also assume that breen weapons would have any effect on a vessel from a different reality.

On the fleet battle thing, Andromeda has shown countless times that a vessel of her class is able to go up against multiple heavy battleships at a time and still come out ticking, it's one of the reasons why I consider the Andromeda universe to be ahead in technology. Simply watch the show and you can see what I mean.

The assimilation beam appeared in the show, but not as an assimilation beam, it was used in the first encounter with the borg and brought down the enterprises sheilds to beem over borg, there also is the cutting beam which took a bit out of the saucer section

Don't forget, it's not just the Andromeda itself we're talking about here. There are other ship classes, like the Ship-killer who's avatar went by Gabrial or Archangel. That ship could destroy a Cube in no time.
