So... With a quick recap here. Firstly, it was mentioned in TNG that the Breen use Organic Ships and Weapons. Yet we've seen throughout the later stages od DS9 that there ships are not organic, but metallic just as every other ship. Secondly, their home world is suppose to be a Frozen Wasteland, yet Weyoun tells Dukat (or Damar) that he has heard it to be much the same as Earth. And thirdly, and what inspired this post, I've just finished watching "Return to Grace". Dukat mentions a fellow Cardassian Gul that he doesn't like, and says that he is tempted to send him to the Cardassian Embassy on Breen. That episode was Season 5 of DS9. Yet, from everything we have heard, the Breen don't like outsiders flying around in and out of their space. Thus, how on earth have the Cardassians managed to get an Embassy there?

Arn't the Cardassians, Breen and Dominion allies? So logicaly the Cardassians should have an embassy there.

They were into the Dominion War yes. But this was two seasons (two years) before the Dominion War. The Breen didn't join the Dominion until late. And with that, the Cardassians and the Breen didn't get along.

If there's a Cardassian Embassy on Breen it probably has more Obsidian Order agents than diplomats. Maybe the Breen's organic ships used something similar to the gel packs that Voyager had... bio-computers as opposed to full bio-ships. I have the strange feeling they were also mentioned as having cloaking tech in TNG as well. And I think Weyoun's words to Damar were "it's actually quite mild." However he's genetically engineered and agreed with the Founder that he didn't share the Cardassians love of heat... it could seem mild to the Vorta but still be a frozen wasteland as far as the Cardassians are concerned. I do think the Breen wound up being one of the most mysterious races in Trek, the refrigeration suits, not having blood, voices like a Peter Frampton song, non symetrical ships... and that lullaby in 'For the Uniform' was kinda funny.

That doesn't mean that there was no embassy there.

What? There was an ambassy there... I am trying to work out why (considering they don't like outsiders and such).

It is also stated in a Voyager episode that the Breen use organic ships (whatever that means).

China and Russia didnt like outsiders snooping around their territory but many Western Countries still had embassies there.

My question is from a episode of DS9.

Gul Ducat and Kira Narise go to a Breen controlled world and rescue to rescue Gul Ducats daughter.

IIRC it is Gul Ducat who says that no one knows what the Breen look like, that no one has seen them outside of their enviromental suits.

IN THE SAME EPISODE EVEN we later see Kira in a Breen suit complete wiuth headgear. But we never see the Breen and no mention is made of their appearance.

How did Kira get the uniform and helmet off a guard and not see what a Breen looks like?

When I think Organic starship I think of a exoskeleton like hull such as a crab or oyster make and then chock it full of machinery.

Maybe Kiera found the suit lying about? And Russia and the Breen are slightly different. Think of Russia as the Breen Territory, and Moscow as the Breen home world. You'd get people into Russia perhaps, but getting to the capital may cause a struggle, especially if people didn't want them to be there. Then to have an embassy there, that just doesn't make sense. Why would the Breen also need those suits on their home world? If they don't, then someone (namely a Cardassian as apparently they have an embassy on Breen) would know what they look like.
