It automatically scans the most popular servers. Play, use the same name all the time, and play on servers with like 12 ppl or more.

Also, the CLQ just records Kills. It doesn't pay attention to Revives, giving Ammo, blowing up objectives etc (so it's pretty useless for RTCW!)

Actually, I think they do, but, while I wasn't able to find a detailed list of what they DO track, they make the following statements in the FAQ section:

"Try to get frags (points, kills, captures, ...) as FAST as possible."

"Player X has played 1423 minutes and collected 1878 frags (captures and other bonus points are included)."

Obviously, this encourages the "Pointwhore" mentality if you are that concerned about your rating. For me, the point is for my TEAM to win the stage, not how many points I can get. Have played stages where my total is 10 or below...other stages have been over 100. Who cares...if I get 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 and we lose the feeling is the same...WE LOST.

The rating is interesting to look at but in my mind not all THAT important. Is one way to gauge how you are doing compared to everyone else.
