I noticed something odd, and if anyone does a little research it can be verified. The sniper rifle for the whole return to castle wolfenstein game is not at all the Mauser Kar 98K. Instead they modeled the world war one Gewehr 98. Here is a websight you can go to, and you'll see they modeled the wrong one. LOL

There is a comparison of the 4 rifles in the Mauser series, the first one is the one clearly in the game. So why did they not choose to model the K version?

The characters would have to use the bolt action between shots, it might have been too much work to animate or something. It seems to me they based the gun on a cross between the Gewehr 98 and the M-1 Garand rifles American GI's used.
