And as the title says, what actually happened after the Dominion War? I'm less interested about the Federation, but moreso about the Breen, Cardassian and Dominion forces. Obviously the Breen had to surrender, but what has become of them now? Have they gone back into 'hiding' or have they gone on a crusade elsewhere? The Dominion too, have they all gone back to the Gamma Quadrant, or would some of them have stayed in the Alpha Quadrant (afterall, they do now have territory there). And more importantly, what happened to the Cardassians? - I know we can only speculate, but speculation is good. Keeps the brain active ;)
I guess things went back to the way they were before the war only with the federation, klingons and romulans now keeping a very close eye on the others. We know all the races got beat up bad so it makes sense everyone went back to rebuild their fleets and planets.
Read the DS9 re-launch books. They are very good.
I'm a Communist. Partially....

More than likely, the Dominion eventually died off, and the Cardassians just laid back on their homeworld, leaving the rest of the galaxy alone.
Feel me. Do I feel pretty?

I've been playing Bridge Commander, and it tells of what happens after the war, though I doubt it's cannon.
I put the last paragraph in spoiler tags for those who haven't played Bridge Commander yet.
Killer Kyle;3867104I've been playing Bridge Commander, and it tells of what happens after the war, though I doubt it's cannon.Spoiler: Show. I put the last paragraph in spoiler tags for those who haven't played Bridge Commander yet.The Cardassions attack the Federation, Romulans, and Klingons. They ally with the Keldrons (I think) and use their tech on some of their ships. The Cardassians also use the very weak alliance between the Romulans and Klingons to their advantage, getting them to fight each other at times. Overall, they're trying to find some weapon. I have yet to finish the game, so I don't have the whole story.
*cough* Its KESSOK. *cough* lol

Bridge Commander, like every (or most) games, isn't canon. I've played it, and have completed it. The Kessok don't exist.
well, breen probably hiding. Cardassians are having a difficult time because millions of people died and they need to rebuild their entire fleet and planet(s). Dominion, i think a few planets would stay but sooner or later they left. Klingons and romulans had lost also a great deal of ships especially the romulans. Feds well they are tougher then before because of the war. THey've build new ships thanks to the war like the defiant, prometheus etc akira and the galaxy class upgrades etc..
