Dose Odo come back after he is "blown up" w/ the phaser rifile?
i doubt it. cause the "intendant" says that he was killed.
What season are you refering to, I dont recall Odo getting blown up....
In one of the mirror-universe episodes, I think he gets shot and explodes. I think he dies, cant be sure, its been a while.
Ah I remember, no Mirror Odo doesn't come back. But the Odo from our Universe doesn't die.
but the odo of the mirror universe was he a really shapeshifter, because i remember in the DS9 episode where they found that martok was a shifter, they shot with almost more then 30 men on him for a 10 second and then he was dead. In the mirror the fire only one shot.. is it me or ...
Could be, but also remember Odo isn't as powerful as the founders.
Why not? Because he was raised by dr mora? Or the great link?
I cant answer why, we were never told why he was less capable than his counter parts. However he does say on several occasions his skills are not up to the level of the founders.

Of course he was really a shape shifter. You only needed to look at him to tell that - the reason his face is so 'featureless' to begin with is because he isn't very good at forming faces. If that isn't enough evidence for you, the fact that he lost his shape and pretty much exploded when he was hit by the phaser blast should be. I haven't seen the episode recently, so I can't remember if he actually demonstrated any of his shapeshifting abilities, not that he would be inclined to do so.
As for the Martok changeling NOT exploding with one hit, this is simply one of the many things that we have to mark as an inconsistency and plot device, nothing more. Possibly, the phasers used against the Martok changling weren't on as high a setting? I don't remember that particular detail though, as it's been a while since I saw it.

He was less capable of assuming complicated forms, specifically copying the details of another humanoid, due to his lack of exposure to skilled shapeshifters and his unwillingness to practice very much. This makes him no more or less susceptible to a phaser than any other shapeshifter, however.
