Ok, so i was watching DS9-The Sacrifice Of Angels the other day before i made my video and i was thinking wow, because i had never seen it. But afterwards something was troubling me. Every ship i saw in that battle had no shields, every phaser and torpedo would hit the hull. Could someone please tell me if i was seeing thing or was there really no shields on any of those ships:confused:

 So True! Though, you'll actually see this throughout the later stages of DS9. Shields just don't exist, seriously. Every ship, regardless of the episode, have no shield impacts, they just get shot at and explode. I'm guessing that they all think they've got that ablative armour, but they don't realise that they haven't until they're destroyed or crippled beyond repair  You do raise a good point anyway, but as I've just said, it is a rare occurance in the latter stages of DS9 to see any shield impacts. They just don't seem to exist. Maybe the Wormhole Aliens had them disabled or something.

The most probable reason is that the ships were using contour-conforming shelids. Which are not as noticeable as Bubble sheilds.

that dosn't explain how the shots were just straight against the hull even not noticeable shields still protect the ship .

Yes it does, For example in ST 6 we can clearly see the Ent-A has Contour conforming sheilds when we see the sheild moniter, And when we see the torpedos hitting the ship we dont see a sheild effect. even though Scotty says "Sheilds collaspsing"

Who would steal the shields? I think the graphics department and a limited budget did.

Maybe the forgot to install the shield emitters back on DS9. Reminds me of the beginning of Star Trek: Generations.

Captain: "Shields up."

Tactical Officers: "Shields not responding."

Captain: "Why?"

Tactical Officer: "They were removed for repair. They were going to be reinstalled on Wednesday."

Captain: "Aww crap!"

What is the ship shield emitter called? I should know this.
