How do you add ships to Starfleet Command II: Orion Pirates?

Open the shiplist.txt in a spreadsheet program, copy and paste the ship that best matches the one your wanting to add, look for three things: Geometry; UI; Full Name (In order). Change the "Geometry" to fit the directory of your model (The name of the model's folder and the MOD file inside), next change the "Full Name" to whatever you like for that ship (Just a precaution, make sure it doesn't match anything already in the specs). Go to the beginning of the specs and look for "Class" and change it to whatever you like (Again just as a precaution, make sure it doesn't match anything already in the specs) Hope this helped, my guide is coming along more slowly than I thought..... hasn't everything....

Another Alternative is to use EagleEye's excellent ShipEdit program (you need both ShipEdit 3.02 AND the 3.9 BETA to use it in OP) availible here <http://www.staryards.com/> in the tools section. Open your ShipList Program, and you should probably copy the ship that you want to change the model of, and make an entirely new class. Once you have your ship, under the General tab, go to where it say's "Geometry", and browse to the new model. I say make it an entirely new class by copying the spec, because with ShipEdit you can easily edit the ships specs, something which is nearly impossible to do in excell. You'll probably want to at least change the weapons/hull/shields, because who want's their new Vor'cha to be exactly like one of the stock K't'Ingas?
