I'm proud to announce that, the latest major version of SFC3: Rebalance Expansion is just released! As a stand-alone mod, you don't need to install any previous versions of Rebalance Expansion. But if you do have v2.0 or 2.5.1 already installed, you don't need to uninstall SFC3 and install again either. Major new features compared to previous release: - New custom campaign for all races which includes El-karnak and Pelican's missions! - 12 new ships added, including 5 canon ships and 7 non-canon ships, all came with completed damage textures! And lots more awaits you to discover! Features compared to stock SFC3 game: - New models for 16 canon ships! - Various non-canon ships and stations retextured! - Damage textures for ALL ships and stations are remade! - ALL planets are retextured! - Enhanced special effects textures, e.g. shields, atmosphere, explosion, etc. - Weapon arcs on various ships improved! - Added new hardpoints on multiple canon ships! (the list is quite long, please refer to the readme file for further details.) The readme file http://yochenhsieh.myweb.hinet.net/sfc3rex2007.txt Where to download it? http://www.battleclinic.com/downloads/sfc3/sfc3rex_2007.exe How to install it? You need to... 1. Install SFC3 from the CD. 2. Install SFC3 v1.01 beta2 build 534B Patch. 3. Install SFC3 RExpansion 2007. The installer will detect your SFC3 installation and install to that folder. It will also automatically remove unnecessary files to save disk space, and set compatibility mode for you. After installation completed, two shortcuts will be placed on your desktop so that you can use them to switch between stock version (534b) and the mod. Thanks to many modelers and scripters for permissions, especially Cleeve, El-karnak, and Pelican, for this release. The complete credits are also listed in the readme file. Special thanks to Chris "SghnDubh" Condon and BattleClinic.com for help hosting the mod.

This is the second time that i have downloaded it and i have to say that it grows on me. The first time i did not like it but perhaps that was due to the virus i then had on my computer. This time around however i love it. Especially the planets. They are so well done that sometimes i wonder if i may see grasing animals but offcourse you can not from outer space.
Thanks for your comments. :) In case that people get misunderstand it, both file on battleclinic and sfc3files are the same version, and are both safe to download, virus-free. Please don't worry if your system will be infected or attacked.
I did not mean to say that i got the virus with your mod when i downloaded it . The virus was allready active on my computer when i did. I only found out about it 2 weeks later.
Please visit dynaverse.net forum for recent info of updates and tests: How to make mod compatible with Dynaverse.net SFC3 server? Thanks.
