Use this for performace 98-Me run box type:mscofig startup tab boxes only checked scanregistry taskmonitor systemtray loadpowerprofile(two of them) anti-virus(optional) apply Restart

xp users check out blackviper.com(Gaming and SuperTweak)

configing mscofig or services.msc will make your game run smoothly install update 1.5 patch Don't use directx 9(crap) I do not have a patch on my via board or amd chipset and generals runs fine Using a mod will crash it. Any questions!!!!

go to .../my documents/command and ...data/ and open a txt file called releasecrashinfo.txt (something like this) it's autogenerated by the game, inside it will tell you WTF happened (publish here if you need an advice) I bet, that the real problem it's in the mod inserted that has a bad code in it, not in your sys specs as you put it.

Your problem is not using directx 9 cause most of the mods need it.

... and if it says 'Reason: Uncaught error', you are f***ed unless you like going through all of your inis in order to find a spelling error or something of that sort. Conclusion: ALWAYS copy and paste, test often.
