Also when i bought this computer way back, when Age of Mythology was new , even XP was not working right and i had to struggle with it for 6 months before i could even install anything. Every time i tried to install something i would get Kernel_data_inpage_error and not even the people at microsoft knew what that was. So all i wanted to say is wait for about a year and than buy vista cause most of the kinks should than be out of the program.

Like Green, I too still use 2000 pro on my computer. I studied NT way back in the day, so it made sense to go with what I know. Eventually however, I would like to set up a quad core with XP pro for my cgi modeling and rendering needs. My poor old TOS computer does struggle a bit in that area.:)

 I am using XP-home edition 2nd service pack and it runs smoothly thank you. :beer:At this moment however most of the bugs in vista should be elimenated afterall microsoft has had enough time to make vista run better than it did several months ago right?:D

I have played legacy,armada2 and sfc111 on my computer which has Vista Ultimate edition on it with no problems. It may have something to do with administrator rights

Hello Greenwood, it had nothing to do with that. I merely wanted to say that with a new operating system not everything works. When XP was new lets say around xmas 2002 nothing worked ( at least in my case ) and when VISTA was new about a year and a half ago that also presented a lot of diffeculties however they should be solved by now.:nodding:
