its yarn4you for anyone who is interested. also I have found tos generations at war (espically dynaverse) to be quite dissapointing. I joined as a fed on the dynaverse server and the prestige was flowing like water so within 30 minutes I had a con command cruiser, the second most powerful ship. Now in that 30 mins I noticed some things I diddnt like.

1) first off lack of choice, 2 phaser types and 3 heavy weapon options with no spare mass to upgrade anyway. 2) Feds have light plasma torp? and its both cheaper AND better than the photon torpedo, while maintaining the SAME MASS as it? Also plasma torps are WAY to accurate and plentiful, remember the times you were blasted in 1 massive blow on the tal shiar headquarters mission by admiral arias warbird? 3 med-heavy plasma torps will do that to you. In the TOS era its the same, only about 5 times worse. 3)Fed hulls are amazingly weak (comparable to tissue paper) When you are being force fired by EVERY AI in a squadern/fleet attack mission shooting wads of disrupters and plasma torps destroying your shields in seconds, it takes about 10-15 seconds of continud fighting after that for you to kiss your ship goodbye. 4) Every AI focusses on you, this is also in regular SFC3 but when you put like 7 enemy ships compared to 2 or 3, with plasma torps AND your weak ass hull AND your allies complete incompetence, its a wonder why anyone bothers to play these missions. However I noticed something odd, after you warp out you can still see your allies fighting, and 99 times out of 100 they will win because the AI then split their focus and go on the defensive. Making it relatively easy for your fed allies to "mop up" 5)Fed weapons are a bit weak, the phasers are pathetic but relativly cannon, however he photons are too much on the weak side. 6) Finally Where did all these ships come from??? I have the Federation acadmy manual which shows basically everything in the cannon TOS universe. There are only 4 types of federation ships, Hermes scout 2 foward bottom mounted phasers, Salidan destroyer 2 top mounted photons, 2 top mounted port and 2 starbord phasers, 2 bottom mounted phasers , Constitution cruiser same as salidan, Federation dreadnaught, 2 top mounted photons, and a total of 8 phasers on the saucer and 1 top secondary hull, 1 bottom .

I forgot, the Freighters have type 10 phasers with the tng effects and the Cardiassian union still uses the borg computer generated names/ ranks. Also I forgot the Fed Battle Tug and regular tug. I have Starfleet Battles (the game that SFC is based on) and ill make further comments based on that material. I believe the tug has 2 forward phasers and the battlepod has 2 360 degree banks of 2 each and 6 forward photon torpedo tubes! Ill try to find the plasma torp damage/range table and the photon damage table.

it hs the saucer of a connie with two nacells pylons extending from the bottom of the saucer out and slightly back. It has a large "clamp" for holding various pods between the nacells under the ship.
