I know this is not the correct place to be posting this subject, but I really need some help. Could someone please direct me to a site, forum or something so I can get some help with my PC. I just built my own PC and for some reason it keeps shutting down for no reason. Right when I'm in the midle of doing something. My friend help me build it and its basically the same computer he has...but his doesn't ever do this. Help or direction please... Thanks all!

A friend of mine had the same problem. Random restarts. Sometimes it wouldn't restart at all, sometimes it would after a couple hours, sometimes after only a couple minutes. Turned out that he had a bad stick of RAM, once he pulled it out the problem stopped. If you have 2 or more sticks of RAM then I would suggest testing them to see if one has gone bad or not. My guess is that it probably has and you'll just need to send it in with a receipt to get a replacement stick (if you have it under the standard 1 year warranty). Hope this helps.
