Been working with the WorldBuilder program for CNC Generals. I created a 4 player map with what I thought was all I needed to make it a skirmish map. When I tested it, the AI was working, but seems to stall after he builds his power source and fund harvesters. He just keeps collecting money, but doesn't do anything with it. Doesn't build any more structures, defenses or attack vehicles. Anybody got any ideas about what the problem might be?

moving to the Command & Conquer forums.......

Problems, Errors, Help & Others to be precise.

you need to add full AI commands for the computer to play properly. your map will work fine in Multi-player, but not in Skirmish mode.

i'll see if i can find a tutorial for you, or you could try looking on :google: for one.

welcome, to gamingforums SaltyDog. if you need anything, contact me.

Thanks for the response. I'm really a novice at this mapmaking business, so my questions and understanding may seem a bit stupid at times. Anyway, not sure by what you meant by "full AI commands". Thought everything I needed was in the worldbuilder. I put in all waypoints (centerpath, flank and backdoor), inner and outer perimeters, combatzone and added skirmish players. What did I leave out?

don't worry about that. everyone starts out as a novice. i still haven't grasped World Builder yet. i guess i don't have the patience.

um... suggestions:

try downloading a map YOU KNOW works in Skirmish and loading it in World Builder. it may provide the answers you are missing.

get a good tutorial: http://www.cncden.com/worldbuilder/ will take you to RVMECH's tutorial. he's the best in the business at making maps. you can download it as a .pdf file for easy viewing.

that's really all i can suggest, sorry. i don't know how to do it. but i usually know how to find out.
