Okay guys... I've been trying to create my own registries... but it's too freakin' teadious to fix the numbers and letters just right... is there a simple way to do 'em?

Maybe a tutorial?

Wow... also just noticed that the registery on the warp struts of the Ambassador class don't change with the ship.

You need to edit the alpha layer of the .dds texture and create the mip maps. All the logo's for the ship are in the same file. You have to place them in the right position.

It isn't easy but after trying you will figure it out. I am no graphics wizard but did okay with editing them.

Maybe you could write a small tutorial for me... hehehe... because when I tried editing it, the thing came out all black and ugly on the ship.

I'm trying to make a personalized Ambassador class, and I like I said above, I just noticed that the Ambassador's warp strut registries don't change with the ship.... could be a model problem, though... I'm not sure.

I posted a tutorial here - http://www.legacymods.com/modders/blogs/

I hope it is useful. I am not that good at explaining things.

Wow, Trickster! That tutorial really did help!

I got my new registry in the game now!

It's still a matter of eyeballing it and seeing that the number isn't too close to the forward phaser array, but other than that it looks slick!

Thanks again! :bows:

Now, if only I could figure out how to make the warp strut numbers work...
