Or someone else! Does somebody know how to adjust the hardpoints? I've a few questions 1. Has scene root, root, geometry and so on to be a sisterjoint of each other 2. What is the orientation node for and where do i place it and has it to be a sister joint of the mesh node? 3. Are the emitter nodes needed?

OK we got the model now working with hardpoints, but unfortunately the ships weapons don't fire! Can s.b. help?

you dont really need all of those in there, i dont really see a need for an orientation node and no emitters are not needed, in fact i dont even know for sure if they get used. its good practice to keep the mesh nodes together under the hull0 node, but anything can be attached to the root node. the diagram i provided for hardpointing was not intended to be a bible, but was an observation of the stock ships, some of which is probably left over garbage. its possible to have a scene root node with mesh nodes attached to it and to have a single hardpoints node with the weapons attached to it.
