Inspired by Tj's Pulse refit, i have started work on a refit of my own.
This basically turns the stream runner into a faster yougher vessel, armed with quantums and pulses, however i feel i have the balance pretty spot on.
I only think i have the ballance right as i cant actually test it, true to form i have screwed soemthing up.
When ever i try to get into a skirmish the game crashes (When i click "Engage" on the race/team screen)
Ive checked the usual suspects, the names are the same, the mesh nodes are all centered and named correctly, and the odf is ok (as far as i can see, although i admit reading black on white is a bit triky for me :/)
Anyone got any ideas? please help!
have you changed the name of the texture files? if so, you need a hex editor to implement the changes on the m3d.
i had changed teh textures, but not after i assigned them in milkshape, before exporting.

so you did rename them? if yes, then reassign those new filenames with the model in ms3d
i did, and reassigned them before i exported to m3d the very first time.
i have since re done that and still it crashes :/
already done that to solve the first problem i had. they are fine :/
check the odf. check for correct hardpointing and typo's
