I'm having problems with the Borg Cube from the TNG era. Whenever the ship is in the game, all I see is a big white cube, with a red logo on it. What gives?

something is up with the M3D file not link to the ODF file.

check to see if you have the B_TNG_Cube.m3d in the m3d folder, and also the B_TNG_Cube.odf in the ODF>Ships folder.

If not, you must have changed one of them. It may prompt a reinstall if you cannot fix it.

That wont be his problem.

Open up multicube.odf and make sure it has this line of code in it:

//Single player Model basename = "B_tng_cube"

If it doesnt, then add it in. If it does have that, then do as Fluxx has said and see if you have this odf file:

B_tng_cube.odf

The TNG Borg ships run on a different set of odf files compared to the other era Borg ships.

On another note, there is no need to do reinstall's if you are missing a file. Just do a repair install. That will put back in whatever your missing.

I opened the Multi cube odf, and it does say //Single player Model basename = "B_tng_cube". I'm not exactly computer-savvy. Could yuo guys walk me through how to fix the problem?

We will need to know a bit more about your install:

-is it a mod (UUM, Trek Battles, Aftermath etc) -have you added your own personal Borg cube file? -have you played around with your install? -is your b_tng_cube.odf file present (in the odf/ships folder? -is your b_tng_cube.m3d file present (in the M3D folder)? is your b_tng_multicube.m3d file present (in the M3D folder)?

If you are missing a file, any one of us can send you the file you need to make things easy for you.

I downloaded it with Trek Battles 3. I didn't change anything. when I selected the borg race, I just saw that big white cube with the red design for the TNG cube. i dunno what happened.
