I don't know about himler, but I've tried it with the kling_tos_scout_photon and I've tried using a completely new weapon file I've called kling_tos_Chang_photon. I figured they only used photons while cloaked so it made sense to only mess with photons. However, I've also tried messing with the disruptors with no success, either.
well of course it would be great to have a ship firing while cloaked...but how are you supposed to hit it? you can't just configure a torpedo like in star trek VI -.-''
Maybe there's a way to get target locks to work at short range on cloaked vessels (you'll probly see where the shots are coming from). Either way we need to get the BoP to fire while cloaked first...
it would be great for my "undiscovered country" historical abttle.....because jsut a strong BoP to fight is quite boring xP
If i remember correctly... while peeking in the XML files among others, i noticed that there's an option to enable viewing of cloaked ships... (something about them showing up yellow) In any case, for those who havent played SP, when cloaked a Scout's sensors can pick you up. Try putting scout sensors on something and see if that works. Im sure it will, i noticed a tacheon detection grid weapons file somewhere...
I'll go have a look at trying to create this now.

UPDATE: Ok, i found the tacheon detection grid, and i can equip that to any ship, but i think i might try and make it optional, not constant so that the user has to actually activate it to make them work.
No progress on the fire through cloak, but i havent really looked. I'll do that right now.
