i am making an ODf mod for the Constitution class and every time i put it in my game it comes up as a box with a bug on it :S i modded it do it would be in tng and fire different weapons like ting phasers and quantums and it would have more torps than before

Cammy..all you have to do is find any ship that belongs to the TNG in your game and edit this part in the same way as that ship.... // COMMAND POINT COST commandPointCost = ***** startYear = **** endYear = **** ..then scroll down and replace/add the ships weapons with TNG era weapons. Since your planning to change a Constitution class, I suggest you use the Akira or the Steamrunner's weapons. To add more torpedoes(the cheap way)try splitting the torpedoe weapon hardpoints for your Constitution class and have each fire an hp per torpedoe weapon input otherwise the only other option is to mingle with the model set up itself and I don't think that's what you want to do(right?)......oh and also change this part to your liking....... // WEAPON values numberOfPhaserBeams = * numberOfForePhotons = * photonSpread = * //forePhotonSpread = * numberOfAftPhotons = * //aftPhotonSpread = * ..then edit this part..... // General (upgradeable) values the Player sees for each system hullLevel = **** weaponsLevel = **** sensorsLevel = **** enginesLevel = **** shieldsLevel = **** ..........scroll all the way up and change this part of the Constitution class ODF into this.. #include "F_tngclass_heavycruiser.odf" #include "Repair_tnglate.odf" ...what else..oh yah change this part on the very bottom....

// physics file for star trekky physics behavior PhysicsFile = "f_intrepid_physics.odf" ......and I think thats it. ;)

ok, it's becasue it can't find a matching M3D file add a line in the odf that says basename = "F_constitution" that should fix it up

yep. your odf wasn't sourcing an m3d it sounds like. 90% sure thats the fix.

yes, this is the solution (and not what others said, sorry guys, but this bug is only appearing if there is no reference to a model or a model with the same basename.).
