I have ported the Battlestar Galactica from Bridge Commander to Legacy. This model shows and "flies" just fine, but I can't get any weapons to function. Can someone please help me? I can e-mail the files out if need be. I am also working on porting the Pegasus if anyone is interested in that one two.

Im sorry but i don't have time to look at your files, but i can tell you that your weapons wont function due to a problem with the HARDPOINTS of the ship. I would check to see if they were in order. If your not sure if they are correct don't worry . Just post back and someone will give you an answer.

This is my first try at a mod like this. I have read the tut, but I guess I just don't get it. Can anyone else give this a look over?

Try emailing Major Payne. Although he hasn't used milkshape for a while, he did write the A2 tutorial on MS3D. Try sending him a private message to get his email.

The Phaser/Pulse and torpedo weapons ODF's have restrictive arcs for the most part (they seem to be normally set to either 360, 270, 180, 90, 45 degrees and locked to fire forward only).

What this means is that to have a ship be able to fire in a particular direction you need to rotate the hardpoints using either MS3d or 3dmax to a point to cover the fire arc.
