Hey Guys, I downloaded a new race mod for section 31. Only problem is...NOW, I don't have the Terran Empire, The Cardassians, OR teh Breen anymore. All of them were a part of my game untill I installed section 31...What happened? How can I get them all back?
you probably overwrote the file which states the races. this is why we say backup original files..
Ok.....How do I get the other races back? PLUS keep the section 31?
The races odf is "[game]\odf\other\races.odf"
Add the races your missing there...make sure you use the odf name instead of the actual race name.
WOuld I have to download the new race pack again?
I think you mentioned on another thread that you have Trek Battles 2. Well you can try installing the New Races Mod 3.x (don't remember what it was) and you will most likely have the menu messed up and if you're lucky the Breen will be in the 8472 race slot. If you're not lucky the game will crash with some races. If you don't have Trek Battles or another total conversion you're fine and won't have to worry about anything ;).
