That's paradox...new stock weapon textures?! You mean you replaced them? I can't see any difference though.
well they are textures for the stock weapons. the phaser in the image shown looks a bit meaner. its not just a straight orange line, there particle bits off the main beam. There will be more noticable differences. its hard to see it in a pic if its not compared to another of the original

Looking great! I have a question though, can you extract dds files into image files or only the other way around?

On-Topic: I think I can see some marginal changes now, acid. New flares and impacts would be really cool, as well. Anyway this looks good and it's time for another weapons mod that does some actual change to the games appearance ;)
its difficult to make a difference as the textures are streched ingame. however, on the normal dds file, they look very good. ingame they look as if they have a motion blur on. still, win some you lose some. i find they look marginally better.

I have found it you put a soft focus blur on it with a small halo effect the phaser looks like it glows in game and you don't see pixelation.
Talking about pixelation, are the textures simply low res for the stock pulse phasers or is it the texture itself again that's pixelated as it is with the map backgrounds? It's been a very long time since I have taken a look at these files...
