Hey, I'm new to this game and I wanted to know which mods I should install to improve the game. Apart from other ships that is. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, Abyssinian

well, you could take the easy route and get a TC. (bear in mind new ones are due to come out within this year so u may want to wait)

or you could get alex raptors keys of legacy - for basic visual and gameplay enhancements

or you could download maps or scripting enhancements. browse round and see ehat you like and download it :)

I wouldn't go by the volume of downloads due to download padding

You should pick up some of the most 'recommended' mods for a start, like community mod 0.4, alexraptor's keys of legacy +, or visual enhancment mod these will highly improve the overall gameplay.

And than you should dload a Total Conversation, like, Trek Battles 2, Ultimate Univers all in one, The Legendary Generation, or a few days later the all new Aftermath 2.0..Besides the countless maps for a little fight agains AI (Yrrebodan is one of the nicests), stendalone ship mods, or weapon mods, or ship packs (I'd suggest you Tiptop's packs for an e.g.)

All can be found at LegacyFiles (hope Aftermath 2.0 will actually land here too;))

Oh, and for having more than one Total Conversation installed, copy the whole Legacy directory to have multiple vanilla (unedited) legacy installments (and make sure that the shortcuts on your desktop are pointed to the proper copy of legacy.exe), cuz only one TC can be installed at the same time on one same legacy game.
