is it possible to edit the SP campaign maps to change what AI ships are in it. like lets say in the level generals is there a way to remove the romulan harpy(Phantom) and replace it with another romulan ship?
Hi I haven't messed around with the Legacy Map Editor enough yet to see if it is indeed like the Armada Map Editor but I guess logic would say that opening up one of the Campaign's maps in the Editor might help. ;)
You can remove them, but make sure to give them the same lablename (the one below the ship name) Otherwise your game will crash..because the script cannot find the ship!

do you mean on the ships odf? so far i managed to add the ship i wanted but it just sits thereand it doesnt replace the harpy (phantom) they still show up.
I have had success in something like that, in the tos part of the campaign there are several klingon deathrite's on sp maps. In the mod I’m making, the deathrite is an early tng ship, and is about twice as powerful as anything you can use agenst it at that point. I also made a k30 refit for the tos era and figured out a way to put it in the game in the deathrites place. First I made a copy of the K_Death_Rite odf, renamed it K_Death_Rite_tng and added basename = "K_Death_Rite" to that file. Then i opened my K_K_30_refit odf, copied all the data in it and pasted it into K_Death_Rite. Then I added basename = "K_K_30" to the K_Death_Rite and saved it. Fired up the single player and it worked! My k30 refit was in its place! Try something like that with the romulan ship.
