Is this possible? is there a limit on how many different smoothing groups I can have?

mystery problem is really annoying me..

I know, that Milkshape has a limit of groups and a limit for polies (ca. 60k). But it will tell you, when it's too many. Never heard of Access Violation because of that though. An Access Violation can only be caused by a model, if the hardpoint-grid has errors. At least as far as I know. If there's everything okay, take a look at the odfs.

it was a stroke of bad luck really. i had to export my model (with breaknodes) on a different computer. all i had changed since the last test was the smoothing groups. turns out my computer had an out-of-date m3d exporter...
