Hey guys. I am working on a huge map pack with new moons, new suns, and some fun fun nebulas. (These aren't anything except color/effect/size changes to what has already been given me, but it is vary useful for variety). There is one item I was considering making--a Temporal Nebula. It would be an almost invisible nebula that as soon as you enter it, you phase in and out of time, causing your shields, sensors, and weapons to be disabled while you are taking heavy damage. Your engines will be severely affected, only allowing you to travel a few km per second. Once you exit the nebula (or should I say...IF) your shields, sensors, weapons, and engines will return to normal, but you will retain a lot of damage. This is good, because you can lure enemy ships inside, but once inside, they are undetectable. What do ya'll think?

Sounds like a good idea and it seems you have though about this alot. I say, if you can make it, go for it. I'm sure the community will be intrigued to see how this turns out.
I agree. Make it - if you can
Will you include famous nebulae, i.e. the horsehead nebula or orion nebula? :p

Sorry Bud...I can't do that, because I don't know how. I am simply trying to create a variety of nebulas with various effects...the temporal definitely being the most dangerous. Sorry, again.
