I have a question: How can you adjust the torps a ship has!

What do You need?

In the ship.odf file You have something like this:

// forward photons weapon5 = "fed_ent_photon_destroyer" weaponHardpoints5 = "hp12" "hp13"

If you want to use different torpedoes just change "fed_ent_photon_destroyer" to let's say "fed_ent_photon_cruiser" But if you want to change the damage of torpedoes and amount of them you will have to do to your Legacy folder

Legacy\odf\weapons\photons

ThereYou will find torpedo files. Let's say you want to use the same torpedo file but You want them to inflict more damage. Copy "fed_ent_photon_destroyer" and save it as "fed_ent_photon_alfa" (for example)

Open your new file and find this line

weaponDamage = - here you can change the damage the torpedo will do.

And the amount:

ordnanceCapacity = - here you can change the amount of torpedoes

Make the changes and save the file.

Go back to your ships odf and change all "fed_ent_photon_destroyer" to "fed_ent_photon_alfa"

DON'T CHANGE TORPEDOES IN CONSTITUTION REFIT AND IN CONSTELLATION.

You need to open the proper odf file for the weapon of choice. In this case, I'll use a quantum torpedo odf file. This is the line you're looking for: // total photons, -1 = unlimited capacity ordnanceCapacity = 65 ordnanceCapacity is the line that says how many photons ya got. :p Hope this helps.

Edit: Oh, and I've never really tried this, but if you said the ordcapacity was -1, then you'd have an inifinite number of torps. :p
