Since Trek Battles 3 was in danger of becoming a Trek Battles 2 Remastered we decided to postpone the release again (it's still a long time guys...but we want it to become good, no, great...) and decided to pick up the campaign idea again. I don't want to go much into detail, especially since are not done with the whole story, yet, b8ut this is also the reason for this post.

We are looking for people who can help us with the development of a campaign (especially Mission Scripters and Mappers, but also someone who helps us getting up the storyline) and for people who can help us balancing the mod and doing some basic odf stuff, like weapon scripting.

Of course we're also looking (as always ;)) for texturers and modellers, to create new ships for the campaign and texture them.

I can help.

I can do weapons scripting porting and some modeling.

None of my ships work because of compatibility errors.

But I should fix this by reinstalling legacy.

Finally some good news. I'll certainly be looking forward to when you release your campaign. It has the most promise of the mission scripting projects that are "known" to be in production anyways. If the first mission is any indication of what your going for atleast. I wish you luck, but I have way to much on my plate to join up somewhere else and pickup more scripting work :D

Well, that sounds good. I forgot to mention that you can "apply" via email (applicationsATnewgen.stlegacyfiles.com) or via pm. Simply contact me and maybe you can also include/post links to your own work, like odf mods, etc.

About doing the campaign, can I make a suggestion? You guys should make a two parter episode story line that uniquely requires the use of the Achilles class or the Excalibur class(the ported models by yopyop of course). Definitely more TNG era with less Borg to the plots. ;)

you should include a federation ship with some sort of prototype weapon that is central to the story.

I think the story line of the first TB mission was really cool, because it involved a conflict that's practically only been talked about.. The Federation Romulan War that predates TOS and happens after ENT. I think that's one of the greatest options to choose a canon basis, it has very little documented, so you have freedom to nearly anything you want while not messing with canon in the process.

Basically using that source you can practially please everyone. The Canon buffs and the war buffs.
