Hi there, In a mission I am working on, I have chosen to use a different race for team 1, namely instead of playing as a federation ship, I have changed it so that the player is a Klingon ship. What I would like to know is, is it possible to change the voice effects for the ship from Federation ones? It is most annoying when Captain Kirks voice comes from the Klingon ship! :clueless:

In the map editor. Goto the main dialog screen with Name/Size/Players etc. Change Player 1 to "Klingon" and save.

I tried this, and it did change the voices to klingon for team 1, at the same time I changed team 2 to federation, but am now getting klingon voices comming from federation ships that are assigned to team 2?

That's interesting. Did you try Not Assigning team 2 to a specific race? Also are these ships being Built on Team 2 or some other team to start? Also are these ships Perceived Teams Team 2 or Team 1?

I have built these ships in the script file, they are assigned to team 2, they are also perceived as team 2. In the map, I specified that team 2 was 'Federation', is it possible that this is not working correctly because I havent placed the ships directly onto the map? or does that not make any difference?

don't know my suggestion would be to "unset the race" in the map editor and see if that fixes it. I expect it should have worked, but I'd try that way and see if it fixes it. Also check if other teams happen to work properly instead, maybe there is some bug in Team 2.
