Now i really love the Wave maps, but i want to make one where your not defending a starbase, i want it to be my fleet Pluss allies, vs the enermy wave ..*as i userly lose because of the starbase dying* ..now i dont know much about the map editor or scripts to do with maps, but if any one can tell me a simple way to make them i would be very greatfull,

Wave maps are scripted. You might be able to add more allies but you won't be able to modify the enemy.

You may be able to modify one but they will still spawn the same ships. Borg, Romulan etc. You can probably add more allied ships and change the structure you have to defend as long as you keep the right label.

You have to have the station in it because that is the objective. Removing it will most likely give you a message that the game is lost as soon as you start the map.

couldn't you just modify the odf file of the station in question to make it pretty close to invincible?

You could use one of the starbases from my mod, they are in the enhanced odf section of the map editor. Those starbases were all remade to take a beating and to work with the AI and not against it.

Or you could label a planet 'starbase' and see what that does.
