will do
just went through it real quick and every date is the same in 2006
also i get the error wether i patch legacy or not.
Ok man, edit your posts instead of making triple posts cos it looks cack
Okay its definitely an unclean install.. Create a folder called Aftermath in the Bethesda Softworks Folder. Put in the Cd and install Legacy to that folder. Then patch it and install Aftermath 2.0 into that folder.
yes, when uninstalling, Legacy removes only its own files...
do i need to remove legacy first or is this just a seperate install, also if it is a seperate install how do i do that?
Yes that's why you should manually delete those files that remained in legacy's folder in case you know you won't need them anymore, if you wanna keep them for the future, just cut them out and past somewhere else..what counts is to make a clean folder for unedited legacy, install it there, and after it you'll be most likely able to install a TC like Aftermath on it without getting access violation.
Edit: well since your legacy install doesn't work as I got it, it should be unnecessary to keep it anymore, right? To make a separate install, edit the path of installment eg. not to C:\Program Files\blablabla, instead of it, direct it to C:\Legacy\ and then make sure that the shortcut on your desktop is pointed to this folder's .exe file...
Hmmm did I missed something?:uhm:
alright so i got a clean install using a new folder to install legacy and it works with the patches. is aftermath supposed to be installed into this folder or is it supposed to still got into the myproducts folder?
