Hey all,

I am trying to split up the ships in my Dominion pack to create separate Cardassian, J'em Hadar and Breen races.

The first step seems to be to duplicate some .odf files so that i have enough ships to have at least one of each class; e.g. there's only one J'em Hadar ship (a destroyer), so i am making three other copies to fill up the scout, battleship, & cruiser classes (then i intend to just change the name of the race that can use the vessel).

I have changed the line :

#include "F_tngclass_destroyer.odf"

to read

#include "F_tngclass_battleship.odf"

Unfortunately, when i playtest it, i seem to be flying a giant white cube with a red bug spraypainted on the sides. It's adorable, but it's not really what i was going for.

What am i doing wrong? Whats the proper way to change the class of a ship?

Well that's a solution, but not very satisfying! Just add a baseName Value:

baseName = "original_filename_w/o_extension"
