What graphic card? Is it a notebook PC?
I got a T6412 Desktop PC but I not sure what graphic card I have. The box does say graphics are made by ATI Radeon xpress 200.
I don't spend enough time here

Put another 512 stick of RAM in your laptop, that would be the best thing you could do to help speed up the game. Actually since you have a laptop, it may be the only thing you can do, but it should be enough to help. :D
I don't have a laptop, I have a regular PC.
You only have minimum ram so another 512mb would be good. Also your graphics card is basic. You can get a decent midrange card for $€100 - $€200 Maybe a Radeon x1650 or Nvidia7900gt
Is there any way you can play the game with out having to buy anything else.
You will have to turn all your graphic settings to low in the video options in the game. It won't look pretty though
I've already done that and nothing changed.
Close any background programs running but it wont make a lot of difference. I think you will need better graphics and ram:(
