I didn't make it!

I can't believe I'm still having problems with this scenario. I tractored the first turret to the middle planet and didn't even need to turn off the tractor beam. The turret disengaged and stopped where the white target box was. The box disappeared and I assume that planet was protected. Fine. Next I proceeded to drag one turret after another into the two remaining white boxes above the far left and far right planet. I put 3 turrets into each box, centered perfectly, and they wouldn't fire, nor would the white box go away.

I never completed my objectives because the game wouldn't recognize that I put the turrets into the white boxes. I zoomed in to the greatest detail and made sure they were in the center of the boxes. Come on. What the heck else can I do? I know I did everything right. And yes, I kept killing the asteroids in red boxes (thanks for that tip last time).

Please help.

An easy method of making sure the get in the right box is to press the F radial key in the direction of it. As your ship will get it into position automatically from there, so it will work.

This is the PC version. Are you telling me to get close to the box while tractoring the turret, look in the direction of the box and press the F key?

Thanks for the help! Followed your advice and completed the mission. Quite easy once you know what the game wants.

Hello, I am new to this forum and I am hoping to get some help completing the "revelations" mission. Nothing I've tried seems to work, would someone out there be kind enough to offer a newbie a helping hand!

I'm assuming that You use the map to select target pionts for the turrets. If the white box doesn't dissapear that means the turret is in the right place but it can be too low or too high. When the ship with the turret is near it's destination point correct the course using th 3d view. Sorry for my english

Additionally, the turrets aren't overly useful, but they are nevertheless pivotal for the completion of the mission. Don't rely on any new ships whatsoever for this mission, bar maybe an Excelsior Refit which is still useable in the mission after that. For this mission, you want fast ships with an alright amount of firepower. When I first did it, I had the Constellation, a Proxima, a Constitution non-refit and an Excelsior Refit. The ship which was most handy was the Constitution as it had speed and quick firing phasers.
