I'm sure this has been asked to death, but how, exactly, do you install mods that come in zip files but aren't Microsoft Schedule+ Application files? I'm trying to install the BIGO's New ASF MOD, for example, but can't figure out what to do with it. Can someone help me? It sounds amazing, but I can't use it. Thanks.

ok what you do is, when you download the file it should be in .zip form.

next get a program such as winrar, and then use that to unzip the files, and then you have to zip them again, but this time, make sure that winrar is set to "zip" and name the mod, ex: BigO ASFs.scd. once thats done put that into the supcom data folder. if you still cannot figure it out, then i'll right a very beasy tutorial, i'll even include pics.:)

Thanks, but it's still not working. I took the file and WinRAR'd it into a zip named BigO_NewASF.scd and put it in the gamedata folder, but ingame, nothing comes up in the mod manager besides the dev mods... Sorry to be a pain, but I honestly can't see what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks! Sorry if I'm being a pain, but I'm really just stumped, and no site seems to have an actual tutorial written up so... Sorry, I'm slow I guess

Hmmm, maybe the mod is not compatible with your game version, and you just need to patch it? Anyway, if that doesn't work, you can try reinstalling then finding which game version the mod supports, and patching accordingly, or wait for a tutorial.
