Hello all I am new to the BF modding community and I am confused. I have looked at this tutorial: Gametoast.com • View topic - A Quick and Easy Step-by-Step Tutorial to Editing Factions, and when I press the new project button it doesn't show the "Playable Eras" line. Also when I am done giving the mod a name and click ok, I don't see a "Sides" or "Sound" button. I have the BFbuilder in my C:\Program Files\LucasArts\BFBuilder directory. Tell me how to do things step by step so i can get it. If you can help me, thank you very much in advance. Oh heres the pic. of what comes up on my BFbuilder when I have followed the first 2 steps of that tutorial.

dont do that yet i suggest you learn how to make a map first.... or your team will go to waste so first start a map on zeroeditor and make it the way you want

Well I'm probably not going to go public seeing that I'm a newbie and have to look around at how to mod the game. Sorry. Now just another question from the forum thread link I posted. What is the difference with the BFbuilder the author uses and mine if it doesn't show the playable eras?

Sorry for the double post, but i'm just wondering if the BFII mod tools were used in the tutorial I posted above? If that is true then do the BFII tools work with modding BFI?

Yeah I thought so. But I'm still confused why there is an edit faction button on his BFbuilder but not mine.

I have the BF1 modtools with the BFbuilder included. Well I'll figure it all out.
