I want to be like the Admins

If anyone knows how to change the duration or recharge time on the jet pack please tell me.:bows:
A simple .odf edit. Actually more than that. You would do the .odf edit and then put the "dc" thing in the .LUA and then munge. If you are a modder (which I doubt you are) you should know what I'm saying. Do you want a mod that changes the jetpack times? I could actually make one. -LastJedi
can you show me how to do that? I have figured out how to edit the .odf, but I can't figure out how ot munge it.
Here you go: 1. Go to C:\BF2 Modtools\data\build and run Modtools Visual Munge. 2. Check conquest, give it a 3 letter name of ABC, and click on Create World. 3. Copy the side you want from assets and the common side from assets and put them in the sides folder of C:\BF2_ModTools\data_ABC. 4. Open the .odf you want to edit and edit it. 5. Save it. (DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME) 6.Go to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_ABC\Common\scripts\ABC and open ABC*_con (* is the era. c is for clone wars and g is for galactic cival war.) 7. Go down to ReadDataFile("SIDE\\***.lvl" and change it to ReadDataFile("dc:SIDE\\***.lvl" (*** is the side you are editing) 8. Save the .LUA and then go to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_ABC\_BUILD. 9.Open ModTools VisualMunge. 10. Check Common and select the side you edited in the dropdown menu, then click Munge. You should see a map in BF2 with whatever name you gave it. Hope this helps! -LastJedi
I think I did something wrong, I did what you said to do but now my game crashes.
That's how I do it. It always works. Just remove ABC from your addon folder to solve crash issues. -LastJedi
is it supost to convert the files in to .LVL?
all it is doing is copying the rep folder, what I am trying to do is edit the clone jet troopers weapons and fuel.
If you can give me your email I can send you the .odf file I am editing, then you may beable to get it working. I will give you my email so you can send it back, just tell me if you want me to send it to you.
You are editing the .odf within the rep side folder. Visual Munge copies all of the correct data into BF2. -LastJedi
