Please? :bawl:
Come on. I have no idea what I'm doing.
What would you like to know?
Well, I saw you in another topic and you were helping another guy and you linked to a page on the lucasarts site that taught vehicle spawns. i can do that, and this afternoon poking the program I figured out elevations, but I'm thinking a good place to start would be the ground. Like how to give it a texture.
OK Just because you called me Great, I'll tell you.
First wich textures do you whant to use? All the textures that sipped with the game cane be found in there respective world folders in assets. what you have to do is copy the ones you whant to your mod folders world1. then fire up Zeroeditor. go to texture mode and click on the little 1 box on the right side now there will be to text fields at the bottom of the tool bar on the left on says texture the other says detail. In the texture box type nab_main_1.tga(or whatever the name is of the texture) and hit the "enter" key. now if you did eveything right the "1" box will now apper with a liitle thumbnail of the texture. so select it and get painting. And may the force be with you always.
Thenkyu, at first I didn't see anything, then I remembered to turn views to include solid. Poking around I also found saving different textures of different layers. My next question would be about command posts. When you set one, does it come with spawn paths and such, or do you have to set them?
ok You have to creat two regions, a capture, and a control. plus a spawn path.
You have to go to paths(tip:look at the two pre made cps for an Idea of what your doing.) creat one with like 6 nodes, then name it CP1spawn( or whatever number it is) then click on the CP in objuct mode, make shure its named CP1 or whatever then on the right fill in the spawn box with CP1spawn.
Ok. Another vital thing I seem to be missing is the sky. I'll need the geonosian sky, but where do I find it and how exactly to I apply it?
Bah, forget that last question. After finding out the Geonosian sky came prepackaged I found that question to be ridiculously stupid. However, I can't get items to rotate and that's doing a fair job of annoying me. I can't get Bespin walkways to turn and such.
Heres a little tip. Read all the included quick guides. They contain all the needed info. then If you dont understand, I will clearify.
