Yes, I know this has been asked a thousand times, but the suggested "fixes" never seem to help with my problem. First, I downloaded the unsupported_swbf_mod_tools into C:/Lucasarts. then I used winRAR to turn it into a normal folder. I copied the BFBuilder folder and put it in C:/Lucasarts then I use BFBuilder.hta to create a new world. But when I try to edit it, the splash screen comes up but quickly crashes with a message that says "zeroeditor has encountered a problem and needs to close" What am I doing wrong? Yes, I am a noob and I know it, but please help! I bought my computer almost exclusively for mods!
Could it be the color glitch? Well I did'nt have any problems using it,this is how I did it. I saved the folder to my desktop,(not using winrar) then I extracted the files into c:/ programfiles/lucasarts then I opened Bfbuilder and everything worked fine.
What's your video card? If it doesn't have TnL, you can't run ZeroEdit.
How do I figure out if I have TnL? If I dont have it, can I get it or am I stuck?
If this is the original SWBF, it should be C:\BFBuilder\
What make and model is your video card? If it's intergrated, you're stuck. TnL can be emulated somehow, but if you don't have it you're pretty much stuck. Is there a little message that pops up when you run BF? Saying something like TnL not found?
****! Yes, it says it isnt found on my display adapter. Once, I got an emulator for that sort of thing, but I dont know how to use it. Could I get instructions on it, or something?
I just downloaded 3d-analyse, but whenever I try to run zeroeditor, it says "could not copy C:\documents and settings\steven\documents and settings\dat2.000 to C:\Lucasarts\BFBuilder\lin1\opengl32.dll" ! AAARGH:mad:
Er....why does it say C:\Documents and Settings\user\Documents and Settings\ ?
That's not right.
C:\documents and settings\steven\Desktop\dat2.000 Whoops:lol:
