Well as you might know from my previous threads that I have started working on a Geonosis arena map, I have gotten it just about right but there are two minor problems that I have encountered. 1. Since this is just the arena I wanted to make it as accurate as possible and added two Acclamators with one-way hangars (you can only take off from them not land in them) full of republic gunships. The problem is the gunships are not smart they have 4 general ways of getting destroyed they will either crash into the acclamators at take off, hit the arena spires, fly off into an oblivion, and if they survive any of these return to the acclamator only to crash. If anyone knows how to set up flyer paths please say so and I will address the problem immediately. 2. I have made the game only playable as the jedi and so Jango Fett runs around, but the problem is I can't get Mace Windu as the hero for the jedi. What I need to know is how to import the files of Mace Windu into the JED folder and exactly where to put them, and what to put in the .lua.

havent been there for a while...

1. you could try to add bariers for the ai

2. you dont have to copy anythong from mace, you can use all shipped units witout copy any of their files. just add the folowing lines into your world_mode.lua: ReadDataFile("SIDE\rep.lvl", ///put the three letter side name in here/// "rep_hero_macewindu")///put the units spawnname in here///

and to make him hero of a team, replace the old rephero line with this line: SetHeroClass(REP, "rep_hero_macewindu")

Ok thanks I'll go straight to getting that done, being as now I have the entire summer (save my vacation time) to mod.

Well the hero didn't work, I'm using the JED folder not REP so it wouldn't work.....

i doesnt matter which side you use, if you dont edit the side or only one unit, you dont have to load it from your side folder(sans the one unit, if you should have edited one) if you do not edit the lua, the game will load the sides from the games side folder

if you use the jedis instead of reps, the small waltrough in my last post will work

I followed it exactly, and the end result was a crash, so I changed it up a bit and it didn't crash but it still wouldn't work.

did you get any munge errors? and can you post your lua?

it HAS to work it WILL definitely work

Remember I'm using the JED folder not the REP, and the barriers work well enough just placing them is a bit hard.
