I used to mod starwars battlefront 2. but about 9-10 months ago i stopped due to school. well, schools over and i can't remember how to mod. i know all the c++ crap, and i know how to edit it, but i can't remember how to make it so the modded characters show up in my MAP%. it just has the default characters. even though the only REP folder (i'm modding republic right now) in my data_MAP folder has the modded files in it. What is the most important thing to do to make it so my modded characters are used instead of the default ones? Say i have a folder named REP with everthing the exact way i want it to be for the republic team. where do i move that folder to (then munge what locations) so that i can use it in-game? thankyou. your support will be greatly appreaiciated

You put the REP folder in your data_MAP\sides folder, then make sure when you saved them you save as and replace then uncheck RLE compression and the other checkbox for skins, then go to common scripts MAP and open MAPc_con.lua (or whatever mode you are editing) and scroll down and find ReadDataFile(\\rep.lvl, (can't exactly remember what it said but that's about it) and put a dc: right before rep.lvl so it should look like this ReadDataFile(\\dc:rep.lvl, now munge and where it says sides open that little box and find everything and click everything, now press munge and you will have you modded sides. Good luck:D!

Yes you get the models from the assets, and you put them in your worlds ABC world folder. Did you read the getting started tutorial because it has all the general stuff for making a map.

ditto..... I added water to my map..... it blew up on me. I thought it was a different reason, so I cleaned it, and it still didn't work. I learn of a different reason now. I'M WITH SMARTY OVER THERE.:D

Well the way I did it was making alpha 100 and adding a texture. The color numbers also have to be changed, so if you have photoshop make the color you want and then copy the numbers onto the color spot (in same order) I'm not sure if it will crash game, though.

Got a quiestion with adding my custom skin to the maps...th thing is that I touched a little bit Yoda┬┤s sking because his rope was to white for me and now what I want to do is to put it in every map where Yoda is...not just my custom side and map like in the Mod Tools tutorial...Maybe I find some answers here...
