How do I get rid of the Galactic Civil War era? I've tried deleting the LUA scripts and that didn't work (instead I think it assumes the default stuff, which isn't good, because one of the CP's is above the MaxFlyHeight, which I can no longer change because I deleted the script. Luckily the Clone Wars MaxFlyHeight is set to be compatible with that CP).

I read at another thread that you're supposed to delete "all.lvl", "allshell.lvl", "imp.lvl", and "impshell.lvl", but those .lvl files do not appear in my map's directory or anything.

Did you make custom sides? If so, get rid of anything like allshell.lvl. You don't need a .lvl file for the Galactic Conquest mode, now do you? Also, if it's possible, maybe you should just make one thread with all of you questions in them. - EP-782

Yes I made custom sides, and they work fine. The odd part is, I'm not finding any "all" or "imp" .lvl files in my map's _LVL_PC\SIDE folder. So what do I do then? No .lvl files for Alliance OR Empire. Yet you can still select Galactic Civil War for my map.

I'm also wondering how to insert gunships and such things into a land map. I've gotten normal starfighters in, but I think you gotta do something to the LUA script, so you can spawn AT the gunship. Maybe this is why it's not working....

Ok, I'll tell you what else to do. First of all, to get custom sides working, you have to add this in your LUA:

ReadDataFile("dc:SIDE\\rep.lvl",

The bolded part has to be added. Second of all, look in your mission.req in data_***\Common (*** is the 3-letter name for your map). If you see a ***g_con, get rid of that line. Third of all, find the addme.lua and post its contents here. And finally, I wouldn't add anything like gunships until you at least have the basic script working. - EP-782

Eh, I copied the original lua (so I would have it when I screw up...), and I did both of what I said earlier. Well you can still select GCW, but then the game freezes, and when you minimize you get the "Could not open mission" message, at which point the game closes. This is a good sign, because now GCW no longer exists. But how do I get it so you cannot even select GCW?

Instead of making those things false, I just took them out, and it WORKS!
