Ok, i've been having trouble changing the sky for quite a while now, so I want to get this straight once and for all. I've followed the "Getting Started" thing the mod-tools came with, but I can't seem to get the sky to work.

I'm trying to make a Hoth map that includes conquest, capture the flag (1), and capture the flag (2). First, I go to assets/worlds/HOT/world1, then I copy the hoth.sky file, then paste it in data_HFB/Worlds/HFB/world1. So then I delete HFB.sky, and change Hoth.sky to HFB.sky. Then, I open my new HFB.sky, and see this:

SkyInfo() { Enable(1); FogColor(203,201,203); FogRange(100.0, 1000.000000); PS2() { NearSceneRange(0.5, 200.000000, 270.000000); NearSplitScreenRange(1.000000, 140.000000, 200.000000); FarSceneRange(800.000000); } PC() { NearSceneRange(90.0, 250.0, 120.0, 300.0); FarSceneRange(400.000000, 1400.0); } XBOX() { NearSceneRange(0.5, 200.000000, 270.000000); NearSplitScreenRange(1.000000, 200.000000, 270.000000); FarSceneRange(800.000000); } } DomeInfo() { Texture("SKY_Hoth.tga"); Angle(190.000005); Ambient(128.000038, 128.000038, 128.000038); Softness(1); SoftnessParam(60); PC() { //TerrainBumpDetail("hoth_bump", 1.0, 0.3); } XBOX() { //TerrainBumpDetail("hoth_bump", 1.0, 0.3); } DomeModel() { Geometry("hoth_sky_dome"); } DomeModel() { Geometry("hoth_mountain"); Offset(80.0); MovementScale(0.995); } PS2() { DomeModel() { Geometry("hoth_mountain_2"); Offset(70.0); MovementScale(0.995); } } DomeModel() { Geometry("hoth_cannon"); Offset(28.0); MovementScale(0.995); } LowResTerrain() { Texture("hoth"); PatchResolution(6); } }

So I start at the top, and put each file into data_HFB/Worlds/HFB/world1, which are: sky_hoth.tga sky_hoth.tga.option hoth_bump.tga hoth_bump.tga.option hoth_sky_dome.msh hoth_sky_dome.msh.option hoth_mountain.msh hoth_mountain.msh.option hoth_mountain.tga hoth_mountain.tga.option ---All of the above were found in assets/worlds/HOT/world1/PC ---All of the below were found in assets/worlds/HOT/world1 hoth.tga hoth_cannon.msh hoth_cannon.msh.option ============================================================================

Then, I munge my map with Worlds set to HFB, sides set to NOTHING, and "common" checked. Then I hit Munge, and get this:

Common\munge PC Copying premunged files from MUNGED... 0 File(s) copied Copying premunged files from MUNGED\PC... Munging HFB.req The system cannot find the path specified. Please clear this up for me.

Hmm. The website is down. I'll check back later, but THANK YOU for posting.

...I forgot to mention this is for Battlefront 2...

YES! I FINALLY got the sky to work! Thanks a load for the link to the tutorial, even though it was Battlefront 1, I may have noticed my error. YES! That's been bugging me for like, a whole year now!
