I'm guessing your not copying over the repshell.lvl along with the rep.lvl? If you aren't copy over both.

I read the odf doc and edited my rifleman to have a chaingun and munged with no errors.The only thing I edited was rep_inf_default_rifleman i changed his 1st and second weapons to: "rep_weap_inf_chaingun" and "rep_weap_award_rifle" when started my map i saw my custom trooper with a chaingun for about one second and then the game crashed.i got no swbf2 has stopped working errors either.Are there any other weapons i need to edit? Are there any lines i need to add in the odf file?thanks in advance. EDIT: yes! i fixed it myself! i had the weapon in the wrong slot for some reason:)

(sry couldnt find the edit button) ok another question, i tried to give my clone engineer jango's flamethrower by editing it the same way.same error happened.if you have a solution reply please, thanks.I will try to fix it myself too.

well when i did my mod i would copy them both the my pc_lvl folder then sides but it would crash on custom maps?

I don't exactly get what your saying, and if your saying you copied over your LVL_PC folder manually you never have to do that (unless for special case a certain folder) the munge does that for you.

im sorry for clogging up this thread. but when i added a rancor to the rep side i got these warnings:

WARNING[PC_modelmunge Rancor\tat3_bldg_rancor.msh]:SplitSkinnedSegments: WARNING: out of space in splitting catalog! WARNING[PC_modelmunge Rancor\tat3_bldg_rancor.msh]:SplitSkinnedSegments: WARNING: out of space in splitting catalog! 0 Errors 2 Warnings

i added him in the lua and req and followed the instructions but hes not in the rep side ingame.Any advice (srry again for cloggin up thread)

Warnings count for nothing just ignore them, errors on the other hand are VERY important.

thnx, and i did manage to get the rancor ingame but it looked like he had a infantry's animation or skeleton and then the game crashed when i tried to spawn as the rancor.

The rancor unit is a bit buggy, but if you want more help then you'll have to ask the creator himself as I have never used it before.
