Dont save with rle compression!!! and if your skinning with gimp you may want to re-save with paint.net as it uses the right tga type for swbf2

right I turned off RLE compression, and by re-save you mean jsut open it with paint.net and save over the file with that?

I need to know how to add a object to my mod map using ZEROEDIT. I know how to find the object and put it in the ODF by going to BF2_ModTools, Assets, Worlds, KAM (or any other world,) ODF, and choosing ODF in the file. So the object shows up in the ODF box on ZEROEDIT and I switch the SELECT action to the PLACE action. I don't know what to do from there. What do I do to make the object show up in ZEROEDIT and in the game of course. One more thing (i know these are questions for noobs but i am determined to figure this mod thing out!) Anyways I Have added a diffrent texure to my mod map on ZEROEDIT but only one shows up on the display screen on ZEROEDIT (the "map") the one that doesnt work shows up on the toolbar on the right side of the screen but when I click it and click the map (display screen) it doesn't do anything. And thats the first thing. What I have done with my map was elevate parts whith the HEIGHT option and changed the texture kind of by using the white textur (it was blank and white so I decided to use it for a snow effect or something) anyways, I always open and save my file on the .wld file. But after I save it to it it still doesnt show up on the map. I'm sure there are simple explanations for it and I need an answer. My conclutions so far- 1. I need to download the 3D program to make it show up (I forgot the name it was like softimage or something. 2. I should mudge it (i've been looking at comments about mudging it after edititing but I dont know which mudge file I should chose. I did the main one in the data folder for the world and the world crashed after it got done loading and I had to start over again.) I know your thinking I am writing a book and is way to many questions but these are the main questions for me to get started.
